Egypt

Egypt

At the first opportunity we went down to the restaurant for some lunch. We sat down and probably still under the influence of emotions could not concentrate on the menu that was handed to us pretty quickly. Finally we were able to order something, I asked for a glass of wine. Since then, Jonathan was sitting on the steering wheel. We had breathed again and then quite calmly  we enjoyed our dishes. After dinner we went for a short walk, as it was a really lovely place next to the wood, and after a while we just packed up to the car. We drove very carefully.

POLICIA

POLICIA

After driving a few miles pretty decent highway, again, unfortunately, our blood pressure had to jump up again. Jonathan was driving with the speed limit, we turned the arch to the left and around the bend unexpectedly came an SUV, practically in the middle of our lane. By controlling the situation and not wanting to enforce the primacy Jonathan suddenly turned to get off and he run over the painted and inaccessible to traffic  part of the road to let him go. At this point, there was a strangely dull but powerful – BIIIPP! Was it a sound of car horn? We held our breath and looking into the eyes of the driver in uniform out of the tail of ours eyes  we read the text on the back door of that car POLICIA… The policeman looked at us intensively and… he had gone.. We were driving very slowly for a moment, watching and waiting if he returned. But it did not happen. We burst into laughing. Third time lucky. Again we were lucky but it’s another sign that we should focus better.

We decided that the next day we go to Egypt. We needed a change. Another climate. Other people, other psyche. New adventure :) In the meantime, moving on the highway, we reached a well-known city in which we stayed for a night. Five star hotel, huge swimming pool, sauna, delicious food on restaurant.  We talked about Egypt. When we were placing the plan of action in our heads we gradually started to see it in our’s mind’s eye. We focused on the area, where we will be staying. Several well known places from the series of ‘must see’, some of places with typical entertainment. What will come of this, we will see :)

Egyptian Air Airline

Egyptian Air Airline

It was 3.30 a.m. I strongly do not recommend to wake up so early. For half an hour I could not open my eyes. Who was so clever and had an idea to have a flight so early, tell me who?? We took a shower, packed last things and to the taxi and next to airport. Our departure was scheduled for 5.55 a.m. Check out for our flight began two hours before departure. What is typical with flights “on vacation” a queue to check out set up  for more than half an hour before starting. Everything was on time, without any problems. In the Boeing 737-420 with registration marks SP-ETNA, which belongs to Egyptian Air Airline we were exactly at 5:55, we started a few minutes late.

The captain was talking several times during the flight, he informed us about the exact route to be flown, he said also how is the weather in Egypt. In addition, passengers were informed on what city we were flying by.

Hurghada

Hurghada

The flight attendants were very pleasant and smiling. One of the passengers reported the stewardess that he was not feeling well. He immediately got bottled water to drink. After few minutes he was better. More problems were  not reported, so we could safely continue our flight.

On the board we could buy sandwiches, grilled ciabatta, soups out of the bag, coffee, tea, alcohol and perfume. Prices affordable of course ;)

The landing came up on schedule. Just before landing we were flying around Hurghada, so we could enjoy the view from the top. Unforgottable.
